askKef is a community app that connects people who need something done with people who can help. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Account details you give us (name, public username, email, phone, photo), the posts you create, your general location or chosen area, messages exchanged with people you connect with, ratings and reviews, and basic technical data such as device and usage information.
To create your account, show relevant posts near you, let you connect and chat, build your reputation score, send you notifications you asked for, keep the community safe, and improve the app.
Your public username, photo, general area, posts, and aggregate reputation (number of ratings and average score) are visible to other users. Your email, phone and exact address are never shown publicly unless you share them in a chat or in a business card.
Location is used to sort and filter posts by distance. You can type an area manually instead of sharing your device location, and you can change it at any time in your profile.
We use essential cookies to sign you in, plus optional preference and analytics cookies. Manage them on the cookie settings page.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who host the app, our database, and notification delivery, or where the law requires it.
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account and we remove your profile and posts; some records may be kept briefly for safety, fraud prevention and legal reasons.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
